Changes in this Population Report Totals table from one date to another do not reflect the total revenue units that may be otherwise reported during any such period. This is because changes in the table exclude coins that have been graded more than once and coins that have been inspected and have generated revenues, but for which no grade has been issued.
In addition, modern coins are added to these tables only a few times per year to avoid small numbers being added in any one weekly interval, thereby potentially creating a false impression of a relatively small population associated with any particular modern coin in a specific grade.
