For forty years, collectors have chosen PCGS for our triple-threat proposition: Maximum Value, Maximum Liquidity, and Maximum Security. With the launch of our 40th Anniversary Set Registry Awards, you can add one more: Maximum Competition.

The deadline for the 2026 awards is Tuesday, June 30, 2026. All sets must be registered and updated no later than 5:00 p.m. EDT (2:00 p.m. PDT). Please plan ahead when sending potential Set Registry coins to PCGS for grading.

The 40th Anniversary PCGS Set Registry Awards Competition

The 40th Anniversary PCGS Set Registry Awards Competition

This year, we are laser-focusing our awards on 40 Categories and 20 Composites.

Do you have the best Large Cent set? Is your DMPL Morgan set untouchable? Will matte-finish 20th-century gold Proofs win our expert judges over? Or will the award for Best Pre-1933 Gold Proof Set go to a Liberty Head series? And if so, which one?

Given the passion and eye for quality shared by PCGS collectors, the competition will be fierce, but the prizes and recognition will be well worth it. For this milestone year, we have elevated our entire prize package.

Every 2026 PCGS Set Registry Awards winner will receive:

  • Personalized Award Plaque: Featuring the PCGS 40th Anniversary logo, the collector’s name, the category, and the name of the winning set.
  • Submission Vouchers: A choice of either two (2) free Express Submission vouchers or four (4) free Regular Submission vouchers. Standard PCGS voucher terms and conditions apply.
  • Exclusive 40th Anniversary Label: Coins from winning sets qualify for the exclusive PCGS 40th Anniversary Awards Label (standard reholder fees apply). This limited-time opportunity is available for 90 days following the announcement of the 2026 winning sets.
  • Digital Recognition: A 40th Anniversary badge displayed prominently next to the winner's name within the PCGS Set Registry. It’s yours to keep!

It’s all about giving our collectors the very best — something all PCGS Set Registry members deserve.
